It's time to harvest and cook! Campers have spent the last two weeks learning all about where our food comes from and how it grows. Now, campers in week 3 will step into the role of mini farm to table chefs, harvesting ingredients from the farm to prepare simple, nutritious, hands on recipes. The basics of food preservation will be explored with a fermentation workshop, and we will wrap up the day by sharing what we have made over a joyful picnic and games that celebrate how food connects us all.
