He began learning about the meat business at the age of 13, gaining knowledge on sourcing the best animals, proper meat storage, and preparation. In 2022, he opened his own butcher shop, specializing in halal and pasture-raised, farm-to-table meats. Partnering with a variety of local farms and organizations. His butchery is committed to providing high-quality, sustainably sourced meats.

This workshop is designed for beginners and home cooks who want to learn basic butchery techniques, as well as food enthusiasts looking for a hands-on experience.Do I need any prior experience?
No prior experience is necessary! Our expert instructor will guide you through each step.What will I learn in the workshop?
You’ll learn how to break down a section of beef, proper knife skills, and practical techniques you can use in your own kitchen.What’s included in the ticket price?
Your ticket includes expert instruction, all necessary tools and aprons, a hands-on experience, and a premium cut of beef to take home.What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy. Aprons will be provided.How long does the workshop last?
The session will last approximately 1.5 hours.Can I bring a guest?
Each ticket is for one participant. If you’d like to attend with a friend, they will need to purchase their own ticket.Is there parking?
Yes there is street parking but ride share and public transport is suggested as well
Do you offer refunds?
All ticket sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. However, tickets are transferable to another FarmerJawn event of equal or greater value. Please contact us in advance to discuss any changes.
