Your Questions, Our Answers

  • You sign up for a share before the season, paying upfront to assist in seed and labor cost when the farm needs it during the winter.

    Throughout the season, you'll receive a portion of the farm's produce each week and also receive recipes from our chef partner. As a member, you get exclusive discounts and access to events through the season.

  • June 7th-December 2nd

    Weekly CSA (26-Week Farm Share, $1000).

    You'll pickup a bountiful box of locally grown, chemical-free produce every week.

    Or

    Bi-Weekly CSA (13-Week Farm Share, $500).

    You'll pickup a bountiful box of locally grown, chemical-free produce every other week or twice per month.

  • The contents of your share will vary throughout the season and be curated by FarmerJawn. It may include fruits, vegetables, herbs, and occasionally other add-on options products like meat, honey, flowers and herbal teas.

  • Most CSAs provide a pre-determined selection each week, reflecting what's in season. You may swap out an item ahead of pickup by just letting us know via email. We are happy to make reasonable accommodations.

  • If you are unable to pick up your share on any given week, you may always send a friend or family member in your place to pickup. No need to let us know ahead of time. We do not have makeup days for pickup and we are always willing to donate your share on your behalf if you are unable to make it.

    Please let us know before pickup day if you cannot make it and we can brainstorm another option with you.

  • As a member of a farm, you are the key to ensuring the success of our farm season. We do our best to be your partner in food and appreciate your trust in us to do that for your family.

    We work with nature and climate to deliver quality food to you and they are unpredictable, so you take on the risk with us as we work to deliver the best food.

    FarmerJawn is not liable for any missed and/or uncollected shares, or for any unfortunate weather or pest events. Membership is non-refundable and we will do everything within our power to ensure you are satisfied.

About FarmerJawn

We’re a 128-acre working farm, building a model that enables regenerative organic food production by and for underserved communities. That makes us the largest Black-woman owned regenerative organic produce farm in America.

We provide access to fresh, chemical-free foods within food deserts and the community at large through our storefronts. Education on the how and where food comes from is offered through on-farm and in-class school-based programming and adult agri-business training.

We are increasing awareness around the challenges and opportunities plaguing our society while also creating lifestyle products to live happier and healthier lives.
